Problem:
Our team was tasked with exploring the possibility of a bundled partnership between Uber and Airbnb that could provide added value to users and increase revenue for both companies. We needed to understand consumer interest, price sensitivity, and behavioral alignment, particularly within the Gen Z demographic.
Action:
We conducted qualitative interviews and built a custom survey, distributing it to over 100 Gen Z users. I was responsible for helping design survey questions, analyzing the data in SPSS, and translating results into actionable insights. We also created personas and performed a competitive analysis to understand the broader market context.
Result:
Survey results showed strong consumer interest in a bundled Uber x Airbnb offer, with Uber One emerging as the preferred base. We presented a final strategy deck highlighting key recommendations, which was well-received by the class and instructor for its depth of insight and clear execution plan.
We designed and distributed surveys, conducted interviews, and analyzed over 100 responses using SPSS. I focused on data interpretation and presenting our final recommendations.
Result:
We found strong interest in bundled travel options, particularly centered around Uber One. Our insights supported a strategic case for partnership and were well received during our final class presentation.
